The goal of the ‘Helmholtz Research School for Negative Emission Technologies’ is to prepare the early career researchers for transdisciplinary research questions in the field of negative emission technologies and this way contributing to the DACStorE project in a valuable way. This is achieved by a concept for fostering transdisciplinary thinking and networking, providing early career researchers with the toolset needed to conduct good scientific work while pursuing a fulfilling career and supporting them in being critical but open minded. By providing an inclusive environment for personal growth the school will attract a diverse group of early-stage researchers which will improve the projects outcome. Finally, the research school will educate the recruiting pipeline needed to ramp-up DACS technology.
